Yungskin Skincare Products is very pleased to introduce to you our second Yungskin Brand Ambassador, the beautiful Luleka Mcinga. Luleka represents all the attributes expected of a true ambassador and we are excited about her association with the Yungskin™ brand.
‘Molo’, hello, my name is Luleka …. And this is my journey.
My story starts far from natural skin care. It starts with me as a young girl, growing up on the far side of Willowvale in the Transkei, Eastern Cape. Here, life is lived in a more traditional style.
Life back home may seem simple, but it is much more than that. Being a black South African and all the incredible people who raised me, taught me much about the realities of life:
- First: that the world does not owe one anything;
- Second: that it is our responsibility to carve a place for ourselves in this world; and
- Third: life is full of compromise; it is up to you to find the best compromise for yourself and your loved ones. It’s hard work, but it’s that which has shaped my life. It has given me strength, and for which I am eternally grateful.
Greener Pastures
Despite deeply loving my home, I realised that there were far more opportunities for my daughter and I outside of our origins. This lead me to Port Elizabeth where I studied a beautician course, specialising in nail and skin care. Furthermore, I landed a job with one of the best Salons in Cape Town.
Big city life
City life can be unforgiving, yet this is exactly where the lessons I learnt growing up as a black woman came in handy. I was taught that: you are the only one who has the strength and will to keep pushing for your goals. I have worked extremely hard to get to where I am today; my origins have continued to shape my life and inspire me to this day!
Living a healthy, holistic lifestyle is vitally important to me. I want others to see how vibrant and happy this makes me. Living holistically affects every facet of my life. From feeling like the vivacious woman I am, to seeing it through my beautiful skin.
Nature is nurture
I’ve learnt the importance of natural skin care by being part of the beauty industry. The benefits of natural skin care far outlast and outweigh those offered by their chemical counterparts. Not only that, I’ve also learnt that my own skin care is vital, not just for myself, but also to show my clients that I know what I’m talking about.
That’s just one of the reasons I love the Yungskin™ brand. Soon after finding the brand, I fell in love with the entire range! Every aspect of the skin care products is brilliant. I love the way the face creams feel upon application, the soft fragrances and the guilt-free excitement of knowing that it is a natural skin care range!
An active life
Weekends I love to go hiking and I run twice a week, so it’s great that Yungskin™ also has products that offer sun protection! After just one month of using Yungskin™ products I can vouch for its quality, as I can definitely see a positive difference in my (already) healthy skin.
I am excited to be a brand ambassador and tell everyone about Yungskin™ natural skin care products! With my experience, I can confidently say that this is one of the best skin care brands I have encountered.
